About me
Hi, I’m Cecilia
I am Cecilia Guzmán Valdivia, an osteopath registered with the Spanish Collegiate Organization of Osteopaths under number MOCOE 500.
I support people who want to relieve discomfort, regain mobility and better understand their body’s needs through a manual, personalized, close and respectful approach.
My way of working
For me, every person is different. Two people can feel pain in the same area and yet need a completely different approach.
Therefore, before starting, I dedicate time to listening to the reason for the consultation, learning about the relevant background and assessing the body’s mobility.
I don’t just work on the location of the discomfort. I observe how different areas of the body are related, what movements are limited, and what factors may be contributing to maintaining tension or overload.
Based on this assessment, I select the most appropriate techniques for each person and adapt the approach to their comfort, sensitivity, and physical condition.
Professional and friendly service
I understand that seeking medical advice for pain or limited mobility can cause doubt and insecurity. That’s why I think it’s important for the person to feel heard, informed, and at ease throughout the entire process.
Before applying a technique, I explain what I’m going to do and why. During the session, the patient can communicate how they feel at any time.
My purpose is to offer a professional and humane space with attention, care and respect.
Training and professional commitment
I am a registered member of the Spanish Collegiate Organization of Osteopaths:
Cecilia Guzmán Valdivia
Registration number: MOCOE 500
I maintain a continuous commitment to the study of anatomy, physiology, movement, and manual techniques, with the goal of providing safe and personalized care to each patient.
What can you expect from the first session?
The first consultation includes:
- a conversation about the reason for your visit;
- review of relevant background information;
- assessment of posture and mobility;
- application of manual techniques adapted to your case;
- simple recommendations when necessary.
If during the assessment I believe that the situation requires medical attention or evaluation by another healthcare professional, I will communicate this clearly to you.
My goal is not to apply the same protocol to everyone, but to understand what your body needs at this moment and to support you in a personalized way.
If you have pain, tension, stiffness, or difficulty moving freely, we can begin with an assessment.
